We call these The Reliables—staples...
Go To Post     We call these The Reliables—staples in our routine, always replenished, the backups we can always go back to when something new doesn’t work in our rotation.

Glossier’s Zit Stick is something we wish we believed in way earlier if it meant having to worry a lot less about banishing a pimple a day before an IG Live. 😂 It does the job so fast, reminding us of our good old Epiduo, the pimple rescue cream dermas prescribe. Which actually shouldn’t come as a surprise because this Zit Stick is 5% benzoyl peroxide, also the main active of Epiduo. But this comes with a formulation as cool as its packaging. It also has Tea Tree Oil and Capryloyl Salicylic Acid, which the brand says is “a less irritating derivative of Salicylic Acid.” That’s a solid zit fighting powerhouse, you can actually expect it to shrink bumps overnight.

Dermalogica’s Daily Exfoliant is something we’ve earlier reviewed. The superfine rice powder truly de-flakes and instantly smoothens without being too abrasive. This has rescued us countless times our skin was too flakey for foundation before live events.

Glow Recipe’s Watermelon Glow is a gentle chemical exfoliant that also hydrates. We usually use this straight for a week for our monthly exfoliation.

Moroccanoil Treatment is something we have in all sizes. This non-oily, non-goopy, lightweight hair treatment oil softens, smoothens, and nourishes strands and delivers an incredible shine.

Sisley’s L'Integral Anti-Age Eye and Lip Cream was a discovery from years ago, something we always end up scraping the bottom of its jar and replenishing. It has become our ultimate go to for lip anti-aging and which we apply at night. An interesting thing is that it’s also really an eye cream. It claims to work similarly to blepharoplasty over time, increasing the angle of eye opening by 13% in just 2 months and minimizing drooping. It works by promoting energy in the mitochondria and protecting telomeres. We learned about telomeres from a National Geographic show about the keys to extending human life. Telomeres keep on multiplying until we reach a certain age and the activity just slows down or stops. We say save those telomeres! ✨
